Town of Huntsville Huntsville is the largest community in the District of Muskoka with a permanent population of about 18,000. The Algonquin Theatre, in downtown Huntsville, opened its doors on May 14, 2005. As part of the Huntsville Civic Centre, the 408-seat theatre aims to serve the arts, cultural and educational needs of residents and visitors.

Muskoka Heritage Place is a local attraction that features a genuine pioneer village, a working 1902 Steam Train (The Portage Flyer), a First Nation's exhibit, 2 museums, authentic demonstrations, farm animals and gardens, nature walk and trails.

As a fractional cottage owner, you'll be pleased with the proximity of the resort to the town. The resort is far enough away to maintain its serene, natural wilderness setting and close enough to get there in less than 20 minutes drive.

The village of Dwight is only about 5 minutes drive from the resort. Here you will find a liquor store, building & hardware store, grocery store and a variety of antique shops and some restaurants.
